Frequently Asked Questions
materials and care
I work with high-quality materials including solid gold, gold vermeil, gold filled, sterling silver, and gold-plated stainless steel. Most of these metals are hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin, especially solid gold, gold filled, and sterling silver. If you have very sensitive skin, I recommend choosing from those options for the best comfort.
Solid Gold (10k/14k): These pieces are the most durable and long-lasting option. They’ll never rub off or change color, making them perfect for everyday wear and heirloom quality.
Gold-Filled: A thick layer of solid gold that’s pressure-bonded to a durable base metal (usually brass). Gold-filled jewelry contains almost 100 times more gold than gold-plated pieces, making it long-lasting and resistant to tarnishing.
Gold Vermeil: Sterling silver coated in a thick layer of solid gold (at least 2.5 microns). This makes it higher quality than standard plated jewelry, offering both durability and a luxe finish, especially great if you prefer a sterling silver base.
Gold-Plated Stainless Steel: Features a thin layer of gold applied over stainless steel. It’s the most affordable option, with the look of gold at a lower price point, though the finish may wear faster over time compared to the other options.

shipping
Many pieces are ready to ship and will leave my studio within 2–3 business days. Some styles are made to order and may take up to 7 business days before shipping. If your order includes both in-stock and made-to-order items, I’ll ship everything together once it’s ready. You’ll always receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details as soon as your order is on the way.
I offer $12 flat rate shipping anywhere in Canada. Orders over $150 ship free - no code needed, the discount is applied automatically at checkout.
At the moment, I only ship within Canada. I’m working on adding international shipping and hope to offer it soon - stay tuned!
Once your order leaves our studio, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. Juliet Grace Jewelry is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier.
If your order is marked “delivered” but you haven’t received it, we recommend first checking with neighbors or your local post office. If it is not found, you can file a claim directly with the carrier.
For added peace of mind, we offer Secure Insured Shipping (Signature Required) at checkout. This option includes insurance coverage and requires a signature on delivery, helping to ensure your order arrives safely.
